09.06 - BAPTISM SUNDAY

Sign up now to be baptized on September 6th! Baptism is a special step in your journey with Jesus. By being baptized, you are telling the world that you love Jesus and choose to follow and live your life for Him.

09.09 - GRIEFSHARE

GriefShare is a weekly class/support group that will help you heal from the hurt. It’s a warm, caring environment led by people who understand what you are going through. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. It can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

You don’t have to walk through grief alone. Your church family wants to come alongside you in this season, and we encourage you to register for GriefShare—a place to find comfort, support, and hope.

09.09 - STUDENTS FALL KICK OFF

WHFC Students is back in session! We are kicking off the fall semester September 9th, and you don't want to miss it.

WHFC Students is a place for any student to feel known and valued.  Every week, we seek to point students to Jesus through worship, Biblical teaching, and small groups, with the ultimate goal that students would own their faith. We want to connect students in our community by providing a fun and welcoming environment, with friendly faces, fellowship, and dinner provided each week.

Parents, do you have a student in 6th- 12th grade? Stay up to date by joining the parent email list and following @WHFC_Students on Instagram!

Ready to serve? Join us to learn more about serving opportunities from WHFC leaders on Thursday, Sept. 17 @ 6:30pm in the Castle Foyer. Light refreshments will be served.

We believe that every member of the body of Christ has been given gifts to serve the Kingdom of God. Our hope is to help place you on a ministry team where your deep gladness meets a deep need. We call this The Sweet Spot!

09.23 - CRITTER STREET STORYTIME

This event is designed with preschoolers and their families in mind, as we seek to create one big play date party for our WHFC preschoolers AND their friends. So, come make a memory with your child as you play, explore in sensory bins, make crafts, eat snacks, and sing songs.

Here’s a great Truth—God made you, and He is always with us in every situation that we face!

09.25 - RECESS

Recess is a respite event for families affected by disability. Children with special needs and their siblings age 12 and under are invited to a night of fun and fellowship while Parents can have a night to relax. We aim to serve every member of the family on this night, and we have one core objective. FUN!

Parents—we know your life is full of unique joys and challenges. Recess is an opportunity for you to rest and reconnect with a significant other, have some “me” time, or finish grocery shopping in under 3 hours. It is yours to use however you like with the knowledge that your children are being well cared for and are safe.

Interested in serving at this event? We love our leaders who are ready to bring the Fun! If you've never had the opportunity to grow friendships with kids with disabilities, Recess is a great way to start!
