Jesus was and is King, but while He walked this Earth, He was a servant. Giving to and serving others was and still is His natural expression of love. The Bible tells how Jesus:

• visited and healed the lepers
• mentored His disciples
• taught in the church, in homes, and on the water
• fed 5000 hungry people
• washed His disciples feet 
• healed the ear of a man who intended to do Him harm.

As we grow to love Jesus, our desire to serve like Jesus served grows. Ephesians 2:10 tells us, "we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." That's good news!
