Jesus lived and died serving us. Our love for Him is demonstrated in our service to others.
At Woodland Hills, we are celebrating "Incredible Acts of Service". Check back often as we add new SERVICE stories to this page.
"Christi and Tom Lurk serve in our Resource Center every Sunday before and after both services. They arrive early and stay late and treat the ministry as if it were their own business. Their acts of service at Woodland Hills are too many to list, but also include organizing the Easter Baskets to the community each year, coordinating volunteers to bake cookies for special events, and offering their personal time whenever a need arises at the church. God has used Tom and Christi to meet the needs of countless individuals and groups within our church family. When I think of what they do with their lives, I am inspired to give more of myself." " Rod Kittleman is one of the busiest guys in SW Missouri. He's station manager and morning drive time DJ at 99 Hit FM, has his own recording studio, and dabbles in about every radio/TV project in Springfield. Rod has played keys on the worship team for the past 4 years, Thanks, Rod. We appreciate your service!" Ted Burden
"John and Jan Battistoni teach 2nd and 3rd grade boys in Wild Woods and they are serious about building relationships with their kids. They remember birthdays by bringing cupcakes or doughnuts. They take the time to get to know about each individual child and making that child feel like they are special. They are very dedicated and supportive of me and always come on Sunday morning prepared. I don't know what I would do without them!" Stephanie Watson
